Kastani is a beach located on the west coast of Skopelos and is 15 kilometers northwest of the island’s town. It is located next to the also well-known Milia beach while also overlooking the nearby islet of Dassia and the island of Skiathos. It is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, made famous by the movie Mamma Mia, as several scenes from the movie were filmed there. By car or motorbike:From Skopelos Town, follow the main road to the west side of the island. Along the way, you will see signs directing you to Kastani. The road is paved the entire length. There is a parking lot near the entrance.
By bus:Skopelos has a public transport system that runs along the southern road. You can take a bus and get off at the stop near the beach.
